I am a proud Unites States Navy Veteran and have been part of the Jeep community through the sales department at Liberty Jeep in Libertyville, Illinois, since 2006.
Over the years, during my regular visits to the VA Hospital in North Chicago, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and talking with fellow Veterans. Many of them share stories of courage, sacrifice, and struggle. Some of their experiences stay with you long after the conversation ends. It opened my eyes to a heartbreaking truth — far too many Veterans are forgotten, overlooked, or facing life’s hardships alone. I knew I had to do something.
The Jeep community has always stood strong when others need help, and I believed we could unite our passion and our purpose. Having been part of numerous Jeep clubs throughout Chicagoland and Southern Wisconsin, I decided it was time to build something focused, meaningful, and mission driven.
That’s when Jeeps4Vets was born:
A community-driven organization dedicated to helping Veterans get back on their feet!
At every event, we raise funds and gather essential donations that directly support Veterans in need.
In 2021, we partnered with Veterans Path to Hope in Crystal Lake, IL — an organization committed to helping Veterans access food, clothing, housing, employment services, and reliable transportation for medical appointments.
That same year, we formed a powerful partnership with Eric Bohl, founder of the Lake County Jeep Club (LCJC). Their involvement has massively expanded our reach and strengthened our ability to support our community’s Veterans.
In 2022, I became a Mission22 Ambassador, joining a national effort to combat Veteran suicide and provide emotional and mental health support to Veterans and their families. As part of Mission22, I help raise awareness and offer resources for the invisible battles many Veterans continue to fight.
Jeeps4Vets continues to grow, fueled by passionate individuals, generous companies, and the incredible Jeep community. Together, we are making an impact—one event, one donation, and one Veteran at a time.
I look forward to meeting you at one of our upcoming events and continuing this mission together.
